Anti Wrinkle Treatment

Outcomes:

Softens fine lines and wrinkles.

Treatment process:

All patients need to have a thorough consultation before any treatment can be performed. During the consultation a full medical history will be taken, including any current medications or allergies. A series of clinical questions will be asked to ascertain suitability for treatment. Your aesthetic goals will be discussed, and the treatment options will be explained.  A thorough informed consent process is performed to ensure that you are aware of all the risks and benefits of your treatment. Photographs form an essential part of the treatment process, and are taken at every appointment. Patient photos are never used for any reason without consent. Finally, the treatment is performed using strict asceptic techniques. Commonly one treatment is required, but a top up may be needed depending on the individual.

What does it feel like during and after treatment:

Patients can expect to feel a quick sting of the needle.

What is the down time:

No downtime.

How long do results last:

Results will vary according to the individual, but will usually last 3-4 months.

How much does it cost:

Pricing begins at $5.50 per unit, however this is a highly individualised treatment.  A thorough consultation needs to be performed to ascertain the individual patient’s suitability and aesthetic goals.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Outcomes:

The size and/or shape of various structures of the face (such a lips, cheeks, chin and the jawline) is augmented. Dermal fillers help to assist with the replacement of age related volume loss, and can be used to reduce deep lines and folds.

What does it feel like during and after treatment:

Dermal fillers are usually very well tolerated. A local anaesthetic can be used for comfort.

What is the down time:

Fillers are associated with swelling and sometimes bruising, so a few days of down time is possible. The amount of down time varies between individuals.

How long do results last:

This is dependent on the area being treated and the product used.  There are some patient factors that will effect the duration of the treatment. As a general indication, lip filler usually lasts from 3 months, and cheek filler from 12 months.

How much does it cost:

Filler treatments start at $550.  This is a highly individualised treatment, and a thorough consultation and discussion of the patient’s aesthetic goals needs to take place prior to treatment.
